These associations provide funding for eligible patients who require help paying for their prosthesis: ADP - Assistive Devices Program War Amputations of Canada (Adult and Champ Programs) WSIB - Workplace Safety and Insurance Board DVA - Department of Veterans Affairs NIHB - Non-Insured Health benefits Green Shield Social Service Agencies such as: Ontario Disability Support Program, Ontario Works and Discretionary Benefits

Karl Hobbies: Basketball, Skiing, Soccer Karl is an above knee amputee who lives a very active lifestyle. As well as skiing for the opening ceremonies of the 1988 World Olympics in Calgary, he has also been a spokesperson for Champs. His positive experiences there enable him to continue an outgoing, athletic pace.
